History:

It all began in 2017 when our autistic son was about four years old. We were looking for an extracurricular activity for him, but we knew he wouldn’t thrive in a group sport. Still, we wanted him to experience the social benefits of being part of something special. That’s when we decided to create a bowling league specifically for autistic kids.

What started with just a handful of kids has grown significantly over the years. But the most meaningful growth has been in the kids themselves—developing social skills, learning turn-taking, waiting patiently, cheering each other on with high-fives, and striving to improve at their sport.

Parents, too, have found a sense of community and encouragement by connecting with one another. Inspired by the positive impact of this league, we’re eager to extend this sense of belonging and comfort into other activities, fostering even more opportunities for growth and connection.
